Previously at Word of Mouth...

We've enjoyed tales from so many great storytellers at Word of Mouth over the years, it really is the place to enjoy the best of tale telling tradition and engaging performance.

With far too many to list in total, here are a few highlights from the past few years...  Emily Hennessey brought her fantastic set telling the dark tale of Kali,  Dave Tonge shared his marvellous medieval tales of Dame Fortune's Wheel and the Three Estates.

Ursula Holden-Gill brought her memorable and moving sequence of tales Romance and Ragamuffins.  Peter and Gorg Chand gave us thrills and shivers with their wonderful show SnakesKin.

Amy Douglas and Lucy Wells took us on an epic ride through Shropshire folklore with Wild Edric and we've enjoyed several visits from Shonaleigh to captivate us with tales from the Gem Cycle.  Dominic Kelly took us to the world of Irish mythology with The Hero Light, and Nell Phoenix whirled us on a thrilling and hilarious trip to Tricksterland.

Along the way we've enjoyed storyrounds with fantastic tales from our club regulars, workshops to introduce people to storytelling and a weekend festival of tales to celebrate our 21st birthday.
